    Information   

    School doors open at 7:30 a.m.
    Please make your child’s safety a priority. Do not drop your child off outside of school before 7:30 a.m. since there will not be supervision provided before school opens at 7:30 a.m. Extended day offers morning services starting at 6:30 a.m. For more information on registration call, (281) 634-4330.

    Breakfast is served from 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. in the cafeteria. Students are expected to be inside the classroom at 8:05 a.m. After 8:10 a.m. students are marked tardy. 
    Classroom Instruction begins promptly at 8:10 a.m.
    Students arriving after 8:10 a.m. are considered tardy and will need a parent to accompany them into the building. 3:25 PM Dismissal for All Grades

    The official attendance-taking time (“snapshot”) for Mission West Elementary School is 10:00 a.m. each school day.

    Students are expected to be in class each day at 10:00 a.m. Students arriving after 10:00 a.m. will be counted absent for the day unless they have a written note from the doctor stating that they were seen that day.

    Students are expected to go home the same way every day unless the school receives a written, dated notice changing how the student is to go home.

    Students will line up to go home:

    Car Rider: (parent must stay in car and go through Front drive through to pick student up)

    Walker; are dismissed from the Marquee area or GOS (Great Oaks South) area. (Address verification needed)

    Day Care/Carpool: Day Care and Carpool dismisses from the back drive at the rear of the school. To qualify to be considered Carpool you must be picking up 3 or more students.

    Bus Riders: will load buses through the bus ramp on the side drive.
