Welcome! My teaching journey began in 1993 when I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelors of Arts degree.  After several special education teaching positions, I finally found my love in teaching ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) in 1998, while working for Northside ISD in San Antonio, Texas.  In 2001, I moved to Fort Bend ISD, along with my husband and son, to continue teaching ECSE.  This school year, I am happy to be teaching the ECSE Inclusion 4 year-old class.  Go ECSE! The best part of my job, is that my students are able to learn through play; and I get to learn and play with them each day.  Also, a big part of my life, is my family. My husband and I have been married for over twenty-five years,and we have an adult son and daughter.  Our additional family members include two precious cats; and a conure.  My favorite quote is "A day without laughter, is a day wasted." by Charlie Chaplin.
