Mrs. Veena Puthigai

 

Hello,

     My name is Veena Puthigai, and I teach Resource Math for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade at Anne Sullivan Elementary. I joined Anne Sullivan in 2022 and love it here! I have worked at Fort Bend ISD in the special education department for over 17 years. I have served in various positions including, as a teacher, as in-class support in behavior and SAILS classrooms, and as a paraprofessional non-severe aide. My exposure was in middle schools until I became part of Anne Sullivan Elementary School.  I have my degree in BS and Computer Science diploma from India. I have the Alternate Teaching Certification from Texas.

     I am originally from India and moved to the United States over 32 years ago with my husband. I have two grown-up kids, and a sweet dachshund named Rambo. In my free-time, I love spending time with my family, snuggling with Rambo, and watching movies and TV-shows.
