Welcome to the PHS CCR Center
The College and Career Readiness Center (CCR) helps students and parents better prepare for life after high school. CCR Advisor Mrs. Baxter will work one on one with students to ensure a smooth transition between high school and post-secondary educational opportunities, including college, university, trade school, military or the work force. The center is open throughout the day and after school, and students and parents are welcome to use the many resources linked to these pages.

Jasmine Banks Baxter
Mrs. Jasmine Banks Baxter serves as the College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) Advisor and Campus Assessment Coordinator at Progressive High School. In her dual role, she is committed to ensuring every student is equipped with the knowledge and resources needed to succeed beyond high school—whether pursuing college, a career, or military service.
As the CCMR Advisor, Mrs. Banks Baxter provides guidance to students throughout the college application process, FAFSA completion, scholarship opportunities, and postsecondary planning. She also serves as a valuable resource for parents, offering support and information to help families navigate their student’s future goals.
In her capacity as Campus Assessment Coordinator, Mrs. Banks Baxter oversees the administration of all state and district assessments, ensuring testing integrity and compliance with accountability standards.
Dedicated to fostering academic success and lifelong readiness, Mrs. Banks Baxter believes in empowering students to take ownership of their future. Her guiding motto is, “Aim high, without a doubt.”
