I require a sketchbook for all of my classes. I believe it is a great tool to have in order to plan & gather one's thoughts/ideas. I also feel it helps w/ the creative process as well as prepare anything/everything they need when working on their major grade assignments. It does not have to be fancy, or store-bought. A binder w/ paper will be more than accepted. The purpose of this is for the students to have their ideas together & help them plan for projects as they see fit.
