Evening School at Progressive High School exists to provide Fort Bend ISD students with an opportunity to take high school courses for remedial credit.

Evening School is staffed by certified Fort Bend ISD teachers, instructional support, and certified FBISD nurses and counselors.

Due to continued efforts to minimize the spread of COVID-19, the Fort Bend ISD will continue to operate in a new way for the time being.  While the campus remains closed to the public, our students and teachers will continue to engage in this new way of learning.

Session 4B of the Progressive HS Evening School Program will be facilitated through online learning.  During the week of March 30 – April 1, 2020, teachers will engage students through the online Schoology platform.  Students will begin to explore technology tools and resources that will be utilized in their online coursework.  Beginning on Friday, April 3, teaches will provide content-based online learning opportunities.  Evening School students will be expected to interact with the coursework through asynchronous learning (self-paced with online learning from resources provided) and synchronous learning (live, real-time opportunities using video conferences).  Each Evening School teacher will post information regarding his or her daily virtual office hours onto their course’s Schoology page.  Students are encouraged to join and participate in those virtual conferences often.

Due to the change in course delivery, Session 4B will follow the same schedule as all other Progressive HS courses.
