STEVEN VLASEK:

I am in my2ndyear at Progressive High School. I am currently teaching PE.. With eagerness and excitement, I look forward to the upcoming school year

Prior to coming to Progressive I was at Ridge Point where I taught Architecture and Construction for 9 years, I was the Head Baseball and freshman football coach at Hightower high school and taught the Industrial Tech classes for 13 years. Before that I coached baseball for four seasons at Brenham High School. I gained much experience working in their state-recognized program. I had the opportunity to help coach Brenham into the state tournament, where they finished third in the state.

I received his degree from Sam Houston State University, where I pitched two seasons for the Bearcats. I also pitched two seasons for Blinn Jr. College.

I’m married to Becky, and we have two sons, Tyler (27) and Travis (18). I enjoy deer hunting and  GOLF lots and lots of GOLF.
