Greetings, Dalmatians! Welcome to Second grade at Anne Sullivan Elementary! I am Mrs. Blackshire and I am excited about our year together. I have been teaching for ten years. This is my sixth year at ASE, and I love it. I attended Houston Baptist University (now Houston Christian University) where I received a teaching degree in General Education: Early Childhood - Sixth grade. I am married to the love of my life, and we are blessed to have three wonderful kids, two daughters, and one son. I love to fish, bowl, shop, family games and movie nights, and travel in my spare time.

My goal is to instill a love for learning and to help each child successfully accomplish all that they are capable of doing.

I am looking forward to a great year with my students. Thank you for sharing your children with me.
