Hodges Bend Middle School

Greetings! My name is Taheera Shelton and I am honored to be a part of the Hodges Bend Middle School Counseling team! I have been with Fort Bend ISD for over twenty years. More than half of that has been right here at HBMS as the Lead Counselor. A little bit about me is that I am a product of Fort Bend schools where I graduated from Willowridge High School, the home of The Mighty Eagle Band. After graduation, I went on to receive my bachelor’s degree from Texas Southern University and my master’s degree in School Counseling from Lamar University. When I am not counseling students I can be found bike riding, enjoying a good novel, or relaxing on a beachfront! Moreover, I absolutely enjoy traveling the world with my two beautiful children. My goal is to visit as many states and countries as I possibly can!
