Ms. Shelby Soliz
Shelby Soliz is an educator in agriculture who feels blessed to be working in a career she truly loves. She is a graduate of Blinn College, where she earned an associate’s degree in agricultural business, and of Sam Houston State University, where she received a degree in animal science with double minors in agribusiness and wildlife management (including fisheries).
This is Ms. Soliz’s third year at Kempner High School and her fourth year teaching in FBISD. As a CTE Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor, she provides students with practical knowledge and technical skills that can be applied in agriculture, leadership, and beyond.
A proud FBISD graduate herself, Ms. Soliz attended Stephen F. Austin High School and raised her livestock at the Kempner barn. Now, she is honored to return to Kempner High School to teach and inspire the next generation of agricultural leaders.
She is excited for another amazing school year and looks forward to connecting with students and their families. The best way to reach Ms. Soliz is by email at shelby.soliz@fortbendisd.gov, where she is happy to answer any questions and help ensure a successful year for all her students.
Proud to be a Kempner Cougar!
