I am a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where I graduated from Southern University and A&M College (#GeauxJags).  I majored in Secondary Education and graduated in 2001 at the top of my class.  I was blessed with the opportunity to teach at my high school (Baton Rouge Magnet HS) and Central High School before leaving the profession to take over my father's business after his passing.  Years later, I moved to Georgia where I worked for the Home Depot Corporate office.  While there, my wife and I had our son and, a few years later, we moved to Texas.  It was here that my education career restarted in Alvin ISD.  After three years there and a year in Houston ISD, I am proud to call FBISD and First Colony home.  Now in my sixth year at FCMS, I teach 7th grade Texas History and coach football and soccer for the Bobcats.  

When I'm not at school, I enjoy coaching my son, sports, history, and music.
