Welcome! I am so excited to have your child in my class for the 2024-2025 school year! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jason Permenter, and I will be your child's reading, writing, and social studies teacher. Your child's switch class will be with Mrs. Karen Delgado, who is teaching math and science. This year will be the start of my 21st year teaching at both the middle and elementary levels, and this will be the start of my 14th year at Walker Station.  I am a graduate of the University of Houston, where I earned my Bachelor and Master's degree in Political Science, with a specialization in domestic policy. I have been married for 17 years to my incredible wife, Summer, and have two beautiful daughters, Joy and Julia. Joy will be starting 7th grade this year, and Julia will be entering 5th grade.

I am looking forward to starting the school year and getting to know my new crew. I hope to see those who are able to attend Meet the Teacher. If not, I look forward to seeing your child on the first day of school!
