Hello! My name is Julia Whitehead and this will be my third year at WSE. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters in Education. I was also a Division 1 volleyball player at SFA for 3 years, and then became the Graduate Assistant for the program for 2 more years while I obtained my masters degree. I have taught 3rd grade for two years at Walker Station, but this year I will be teaching 5th grade! I could not be more thrilled to be with the kiddos who started with me on my teaching journey just 2 years ago. 

When I am not teaching, you will find me at the gym, spending time with family and friends, and walking my dog, Chance. When I am teaching, you might find me covered in paint or dressed up as your favorite Disney character. (Dress up days are my favorite)

 I can't wait to make memories and grow with your child this year!
