My name is Sammy Jurek, and I am the Automotive and Diesel Equipment teacher here at James Reese. I have more than 27 years of experience in the automotive industry, including an Associates degree of Occupational Studies in Automotive and Diesel Technology from Universal Technical Institute. I am a former Ford Senior Master technician, former Toyota Certified technician, and Master Advanced level Engine Performance Certified. I am also ASE Master certified. My goal is to share my expertise with my students while offering real world, hands-on experiences that will lead to their future success in the automotive industry. 

My wife, two sons, and I reside in Richmond, Texas, and we are huge Houston Texan football fans.
