Career and Technical Student Organizations

  • Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) offer co-curricular learning experiences above and beyond the classroom.  CTSO activities include but are not limited to local, district, state and national level competition, business and industry networking events, and community service activities.

The James Reese Career and Technical Center will offer Skills USA and TAFE as student organizations.

The Texas Association of Future Educators or TAFE (pronounced "taffy") is a co-curricular statewide student organization created to allow young men and women an opportunity to explore the teaching profession. TAFE is sponsored by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals and is governed by a board of directors comprised of teachers, students and principals.
