Hello, my name is Vernecia Anthony. This year marks my 17th year in the field of education. I have taught grades 1-4. It is with joy and excitement that I serve as the ELA Instructional Coach at E. A. Jones. I am also honored to have been chosen as Teacher of the Year four times throughout my career.

The role of the Instructional Coach in Fort Bend ISD is to promote literacy opportunities for students, teachers, and parents in a way that emphasizes appropriate instruction, targeting solid instructional strategies. One of my goals is that ALL students will be lifelong successful readers and writers, especially our dragons at E. A. Jones.
