Welcome!   

My name is Imelda Halim and I am happy to serve as the Bilingual Dyslexia Teacher at E.A. Jones.  I am proud to be an E.A. Jones Dragon!  

I am originally from Brownsville, TX.   I received my Bachelor of Science in Bilingual Education from Texas A&M – Kingsville.   I started my career with FBISD at Armstrong Elementary as a teacher and an ESL teacher.  This will be my 19th year of teaching and my 9th year at E.A. Jones.    

I am excited to be a part of your child’s education.  I hope to instill the love and importance of reading in their lives.  I am looking forward to an amazing school year!
