On Saturday, April 2, the Fort Bend Education Foundation held its 19th Annual Zuhnë Education Expedition bike ride with an awesome turn-out of riders. As a result of this successful recommended ride, the Foundation raised $27,000 benefiting its Grants to Teachers and Schools programs, which provide opportunities to enrich and enhance the quality of education for all Fort Bend ISD students.

Rest Stops were staffed by volunteers including teachers and students from Fort Bend ISD schools. They were vying for the Best Rest Stop award. Clements High School Interact Club won the award with its “Out of this World” Space theme! Way to go, Rangers!!

At the end of the ride, participants enjoyed a much deserved “grab n go”  breakfast donated by Chick-fil-A Pearland and lunch catered by Subway.

We want to thank all of the riders, sponsors and volunteers who supported the Fort Bend Education Foundation. We hope to see you again next year! For more information about the Foundation, visit our website at www.fortbendisd.com/foundation.
