• "Up, Up and Away" – A Night of Magic and Generosity

The Fort Bend Education Foundation’s 32nd Annual Gala, held on March 1st at the Houston Marriott Sugar Land, soared to new heights with its theme, "Up, Up and Away." The evening perfectly embodied the spirit of “open heart, open mind, open sky,” inspiring guests to share their enthusiasm and generosity in support of Fort Bend ISD students.

Honorary Gala Chair, Brenna Cosby and Co-chairs Syndee Howgate and Kelley Jensen are thrilled to announce that the Gala grossed an impressive $499,000, all dedicated to enriching and enhancing the educational experiences of students across the district. Through its grant process, the Foundation touches every school in Fort Bend ISD, empowering teachers and students with invaluable resources to thrive.

The night was nothing short of magical. Attendees, dressed in white, mingled under the stars, resembling fluffy clouds floating on a sea of excitement. The venue's decor transported everyone to a sky of endless possibilities.  The silent auction and bid board featured exclusive, one-of-a-kind treasures, tempting bidders to reach for the stars.

Guests were treated to an exquisite dining experience beneath a stunning twilight canopy before being swept away by the live auction, emceed by Sugar Land Mayor Joe Zimmerman. The evening culminated with an unforgettable celebration on the dance floor, with the band Password providing the perfect soundtrack for an evening of joy and camaraderie.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the generous supporters who made “Up, Up and Away” such a soaring success. A special congratulations goes to the Fort Bend ISD students and teachers who will directly benefit from the funds raised at this memorable event.

Mark your calendars for the next Fort Bend Education Foundation Gala, set for March 7, 2026, as we look forward to another night of celebration, community, and impact.
