Welcome to Mission Glen Elementary! My name is Lennox Jones and I am currently teaching 4th Grade Reading and Writing. This is currently my fourth year at MGE and I have really enjoyed it. This is now my sixteenth year of teaching in FBISD. My teaching experience has encompassed teaching a variety of academic disciplines, grade levels as well as school aged children. I have had the pleasure of planning engaging lessons, activities, academic enrichments and interventions to students to support their growth in reading, writing and math for grades Kinder through Eighth Grade. In addition, to teaching I have also provided leadership and guidance to student athletes as a coach in football, basketball and track. I am a native Houstonian and have attended schools located in the Historical Fifth Ward and Third Ward area including South Park and finishing in Southwest Houston from Westbury High School.  I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from LeTourneau University and a Master’s from Grand Canyon University. I currently reside in the Greater Fortbend area with my wife and daughter. We have graduated two boys and are currently looking forward to a third graduate. My hobbies include spending time with my family, friends and attending my son’s basketball games and my daughter’s concerts.
