Welcome to Mission Bend-Glen Elementary!

My name is Wendy Mowry and I am the EL Specialist here at MBGE. I have been in Fort Bend ISD for 22 years. As an EL Specialist, I provide intentional strategies and instructional support for teachers of our Emergent Bilinguals to help grow the use of language.  

I attended Baylor University where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a Specialization in Early Childhood. I have also obtained my Master's degree in Educational Administration from Houston Baptist University. I have been teaching for 23 years and have taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade. I currently serve grades pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. 

I have three children. My daughter, Kylie, is 24 and is currently attending college in Bryan, TX. My son, Braedon, is 22 and is attending Texas A&M and will be graduating this year. My youngest son, Landan, is 19 and is busy working as a waiter. I love spending time with my family and traveling around the world.

 I am excited about the out-of-this-world learning at Mission Bend-Glen Elementary with our fabulous EB students!
