• Texas law requires all high school students to take and pass End-of-Course (EOC) assessments in certain subjects in order to graduate.

     

    • Texas Administrative Code §101.3021(a): Any student enrolled in a course with an EOC exam (as listed in Texas Education Code §39.023) must take the test.
    • Texas Administrative Code §101.3022(a): To receive a Texas high school diploma, a student must meet satisfactory performance on each required EOC exam.

     

    The required EOCs are: Algebra I, English I, English II, Biology, and U.S. History.
