My name is Sierra Joseph and I am the AVID Coordinator/ Elective Department Chair. I will be teaching AVID here at Ronald Thornton Middle School. This will be my third year at Ronald Thornton and I am going into my 10th year of education. I am a passionate educator who desires to build meaningful relationships and create a safe haven for my students each year.

I graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelors in Kinesiology where I was a collegiate volleyball player. Prior to coming to Fort Bend ISD, I taught in Sheldon ISD and Brazosport ISD. 

I have been married to my husband Jake for 10 years, and we have 3 beautiful children.

I am beyond excited to be a RTMS Thundercat and look forward to having a great school year!
