Hello! I am Mrs. Maxwell! I am new to Fort Bend and am so excited to be teaching math and science in SAILS at RTMS.  I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin (hook'em horns!) and have been teaching since 2006. I have taught Early Childhood Special Education, Pre-K Inclusion, Kindergarten, and Special Education Resource. The majority of my teaching career has been in Leander ISD and Galveston ISD. 

I have many teachers in my family, including my sister, brother, sister-in-law, and my husband. I have the sweetest 28-year-old son that lives in San Antonio. I am an animal lover and have six dogs (four of them are pugs) and two conures. In my spare time, I am a homebody and love to watch movies, spend time with my dogs, swim, do jigsaw puzzles, sew, and work on home improvement projects. 

I am looking forward to a school year full of joy, fun, and learning!
