Hello, I am Kenan White. I am one of the original staff members at Ronald Thornton. I received my Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Southern University @New Orleans, where I was a student athlete in the same city where I was born & raised. I am part of the successful tradition of being named Male Coach of the Year for the 24-25 school year by coaching football, boys/girls basketball, formally girls tennis & soccer here at Thornton. I moved to Houston from New Orleans 9 years ago after teaching and coaching at the middle/high school levels. I have also worked in the juvenile educational system in New Orleans & with CPS in Harris County. I enjoy exploring different cultures and traditions. I really enjoy being outside with nature & listening to music. Cooking, watching Disney movies with my daughters and documentaries with my son are enjoyable delicacies for me.

I am excited to continue my journey here as a faculty member & coach while assisting students to pursue their own educational & extra-curriculum goals.
