Special Education EC-12 Generalist Ec-6

Mrs. Tynecia Rhody

I am pleased to introduce myself as Mrs. Rhody, the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE-3) Teacher for the upcoming academic year. This is my first year at Walker Station Elementary. My academic background includes a degree in Communications from Texas Southern University. Although my journey began in a different field, I discovered my true passion lies in education. Subsequently, I enrolled in the Texas Teachers teaching program, and I am now entering my third year of teaching.

Before specializing in ECSE, my educational experience included serving as an in-class support aide in a life skills classroom. I also spent two years teaching in a resource capacity and one year in ECSE-4. Currently, I am actively pursuing a master's degree with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), with a particular focus on autism.

Outside of my professional life, I am a wife and a mother of two wonderful sons. I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to teach ECSE-3 this year and look forward to getting to know both you and your exceptional students.
