Hello!  My name is Laura Prentis.   I am entering my ninth year as an educator and my fifth year at WSE as a Special Education Resource Inclusion Teacher.  My passion is to promote and model the love of learning for my students.  I graduated with a Master's of Science Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2020. I thoroughly enjoy working with students with diverse needs in fun and engaging ways. 

Outside of the classroom, I am a mom to 4 amazing boys whom are FBISD students as well.  I enjoy spending time with my family doing outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, and hiking.

I am looking forward to an exciting school year!
