Hello Marshall Family, 

I am Ms. Thomas and am overjoyed to have the opportunity to serve the MBE community as the new counselor! I am an FBISD graduate and have been an educator in this district for 9 years, serving as a middle school teacher, PBIS facilitator, VLP counselor, and now your counselor! My approach for working with students is compassion and empathy. From my experience, I have become a firm believer in capturing the hearts of students and building a relationship with them first. I graduated from Houston Baptist University with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology and earned a Master’s in School Counseling from the University of St. Thomas. Outside of school, I enjoy doing art, going to sporting events, traveling, and live music. Feel free to use the resources on this page.
