In the Zone! is a new digital newsletter created by FBISD to keep parents and community members informed about news and events within The District. Each month, In the Zone! will feature stories from schools within your attendance area as well as articles that will provide families with information and tools to help their children succeed.

Parents will automatically receive the newsletter for their area based on their home address.  Sign up for news from other attendance areas.

We value our volunteers at Mission Bend Elementary, and we are always in need of more!  Every year our volunteers donate many hours of their time to various activities and events on and off campus to enhance the educational experience of students, provide much needed support to our teachers and administrators and improve and expand our connection to the community.  Begin the process of becoming an MBE volunteer by filling out the Volunteer Background Check online.

The school will be notified once you have completed the background check, and you will be added to our list of approved volunteers.  Please contact our volunteer coordinator, Misty Miller, for current volunteer opportunities at MBE.
