Mrs. Veronica Roberson

#MarshalsMakeItHappen. We are one family doing whatever it takes to grow all scholars at Mission Bend Elementary. I encourage every parent, new and returning, to stop by Mission Bend Elementary and find out how you can get involved. My door is always open to collaborating with parents to ensure their children reach whatever goal set.

I have lived in the Houston area for more than twenty years. I grew up in a small town, so I continue to operate like a small town native. We support each other every day. I obtained my Bachelor of Science- Interdisciplinary Studies degree at Texas Southern University. I then attended the University of Houston-Clear Lake, where I received a Master of Science in Educational Management. I am a doctoral student at the University of Houston, focusing on special education leadership. As you can see, I am a lifetime learner. I believe every child can learn when provided the necessary tools to overcome barriers.

I genuinely believe in the old African proverb, “It takes a village to raise (educate) a child.” I look forward to collaborating with you to ensure we meet all scholars’ social-emotional and academic needs. As a parent of two children, ages 19 and 16, I know our partnership will give our scholars the skills to achieve dreams beyond their imaginations.

I am happy to be the principal at Mission Bend Elementary, where we believe all students can and will learn.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Roberson

Bachelor of Science - Early Childhood Education Master of Education - Administration and Supervision

Ms. Robin Gray

Ms. Gray became a resident of Fort Bend County seventeen years ago and has worked as an educator for Fort Bend ISD for this entire length of time.  She has served as a teacher, math interventionist, and science specialist.  Most recently, she served as a math coach for Arizona Fleming Elementary School.

Prior to moving to the Houston area in 2001, Ms. Gray received a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Arkansas.  She earned a Master of Education degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston, Victoria.

We are excited that Ms. Gray was selected as a good fit for the MBE administration team.  An example of what Ms. Gray values was stated in the following quoted message.  “I have a few educational beliefs. My first belief is that all children can learn and succeed when provided the environment, resources, support, and educators needed to do so. Second, I believe that our teachers should feel valued, supported, and equipped with opportunities to grow in their craft. Lastly, I’m passionate that all community members play a key and vital role in the overall success of our campus. It will take a village to achieve our goals and deliver quality education to our students.”

Ms. Gray and the entire MBE team are looking forward to building positive relationships with our students, staff, and parents this school year. The students of Mission Bend Elementary are the future, and it is a team effort to ensure their success.
