Mrs. Veronica Roberson
I begin the 2021-2022 school year as the appointed Principal of Mission Bend Elementary School with great pleasure and excitement. I am honored to lead a school with 41 years of successfully educating students. I look forward to meeting students, parents, and community members.
My fifteen years of experience have taught me how to be a better parent and an educator. I began my journey in education as a special education paraprofessional. I have taught first and fifth grade. In addition to teaching, I have served as an English Language Arts Specialist and Dyslexia Teacher. For the last six years, I have served as an Assistant Principal in Fort Bend ISD.
Through these experiences, I genuinely hold firm to the old African proverb, “It takes a village to raise (educate) a child.” I look forward to collaborating with each of you to ensure all of our students’ social-emotional and academic needs are met. As a parent of two children, ages 18 and 15, I know our partnership will ensure our students reach dreams past their imaginations.
Please stop by and see how you can stay involved at Mission Bend Elementary.

Ms. Robin Gray
Ms. Gray became a resident of Fort Bend County seventeen years ago and has worked as an educator for Fort Bend ISD for this entire length of time. She has served as a teacher, math interventionist, and science specialist. Most recently, she served as a math coach for Arizona Fleming Elementary School.
Prior to moving to the Houston area in 2001, Ms. Gray received a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Arkansas. She earned a Master of Education degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston, Victoria.
We are excited that Ms. Gray was selected as a good fit for the MBE administration team. An example of what Ms. Gray values was stated in the following quoted message. “I have a few educational beliefs. My first belief is that all children can learn and succeed when provided the environment, resources, support, and educators needed to do so. Second, I believe that our teachers should feel valued, supported, and equipped with opportunities to grow in their craft. Lastly, I’m passionate that all community members play a key and vital role in the overall success of our campus. It will take a village to achieve our goals and deliver quality education to our students.”
Ms. Gray and the entire MBE team are looking forward to building positive relationships with our students, staff, and parents this school year. The students of Mission Bend Elementary are the future, and it is a team effort to ensure their success.
