Julie Ridings
Welcome to the new school year. My name is Julie Ridings, and I am excited about teaching your students this year! My journey began with Fort Bend ISD four years ago. I started out as a paraprofessional in SAILS for Middle School. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, minoring in Criminal Justice. While I was obtaining my degree, I knew I wanted to work with children in some capacity. I recently began working on my certifications in Special Ed, and I am currently working as an Instructional Apprentice Teacher. I enjoy working with your child and the wonderful staff at Blue Ridge/Briargate Elementary.
Something that I live by is to Always chase your dreams, no matter how hard it seems. Never give up! It has always been important to me to keep in the back of my mind when overcoming obstacles. Sometimes that mountain can be hard to climb, so put your best foot forward and go for it!! Never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. I want all of my SAILS students to know that they can do anything!
