Hello, my name is Mr. Washington. I am proud to be a part of the Blue Ridge Briargate family. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.  My degree is in teaching journalism and English. Also, I earned certifications in elementary education and special education.  A retired teacher who returned to education, I have worked at a variety of grade levels ranging from 4th to 12th grade in general and special education settings.  I am very passionate about working with young students with disabilities and helping them gain the skills they need to become life long learners.
