Welcome to the new Allen Aldridge Jr. Elementary for the 2025-2026 school year! My name is Julie Ridings, and I am excited to be teaching your students again this year!  My journey began with Fort Bend ISD four years ago. I started out as a paraprofessional in SAILS for Middle School in 2021.  I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, minoring in Criminal Justice.  While I was obtaining my degree, I knew I wanted to work with children in some capacity.  I began working on my certifications in Special Ed and now a Certified Special Ed Teacher. I am looking forward to working with your child this year.

Something that I live by is to "Always chase your dreams, no matter how hard it seems. Never give up!" It has always been important to me to keep in the back of my mind when overcoming obstacles. Sometimes that mountain can be hard to climb, so put your best foot forward and go for it!! Never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. I want all of my SAILS students to know that they can do anything they put their mind to!
