Hello, my name is Carolina Barrios. I am originally from Río Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. I graduated from Escuela Normal de Tamaulipas, Mexico, in 1981. After working in Mexico for a few years, I moved to the United States and began working with HISD in 1991. I left HISD in 2015 and joined Fort Bend ISD in 2017. I earned a Master's degree in Linguistics from the University of Houston's main campus and completed a semester of Spanish Literature at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain. This year marks my 30th year of professional experience.
