• This year, students at Rosa Parks Elementary have the opportunity to participate in the district-wide reading experience called Book Cirque. Students can design and create a project based on a book they have read from one of the following Texas Library Association lists: 2x2 List, Texas Bluebonnet Award, Little Maverick, and Tejas Star. These lists are created by the Texas Library Association and represent some of the best books for children. Check with the librarian for help finding these books. Please see the attached project menu for project ideas. Projects should be completed by the students and reflect authentic student work. Parents are encouraged to help their child, but the project should reflect the abilities of the student. Student projects will be displayed at the FBISD Book Cirque Showcase on April 25, 2026 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Brazos Bend Elementary School.
