Howdy Townewest Texans!

 My name is Jolene Orendorff, and I’m proud to be teaching 5th grade in a self-contained classroom. I love the opportunity to support my students in all subjects and to help them grow academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school year. This is my first year at Townewest and second year at Fort Bend ISD.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master's of Education, and I’m passionate about fostering a classroom culture built on a growth mindset—where students understand that effort, perseverance, and learning from mistakes are all essential parts of success. My goal is to help every child see challenges as opportunities and to develop confidence in their ability to learn and improve. I believe in building strong relationships with students and their families and in encouraging a love of lifelong learning.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, painting, and spending time with my family. I’m so grateful to be part of this school community and look forward to a year filled with curiosity, creativity, and meaningful growth!
