Mrs. Sandra Marcela Diaz

Hello! I’m Sandra Marcela Diaz, and I’ve had the joy of teaching at Townewest Elementary for the past 23 years. I specialize in Special Education, working with students from Kindergarten through 5th grade.

For the past 5 years, I have been dedicated to teaching our ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) class. These early learners hold a special place in my heart. I find deep fulfillment in helping each child grow at their own pace, celebrate their unique strengths, and build the foundations for lifelong learning.

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe that every child can learn, and it’s my mission to meet them where they are, guide them with patience, and celebrate every milestone. My classroom is a nurturing, inclusive environment where students feel safe, supported, and empowered.
