Hello and welcome! My name is Dana Keen, and I am the Literacy Intervention Specialist. 

I graduated from Houston Baptist University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Early Childhood Education.  This is my 24th year teaching.  I have taught ESL, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th.  My goal each year is to help my students believe in themselves and to create a classroom family where teamwork, kindness, and leadership motivate and inspire success in all we do.  When I am not teaching, you can find me at home playing outside with my husband James, my daughter Mackenzie, and my son James V.  As a family, we love to go camping, attending festivals, and rooting for our favorite football team, the Houston Texans.
