I grew up in Brownsville, Texas and attended The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. During my time studying, I worked with immigrant children from South and Central America and I also volunteered my time as a coach for youth sports. My passion for teaching and coaching grew from a lifelong love of sports and physical activity. I graduated from UTRGV in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. I began my teaching career at Macario Garcia Middle School in the 2019-2020 school year. I am the Girls Athletic Coordinator and Coach Volleyball, Basketball, and Co-ed Tennis.
