My name is Linda Hopson and I started teaching in 2005. I have taught at the secondary level in several different cities and districts around the state, including HCC. 

I am excited to teach a variety of different elective classes: Career and College Explorations, Touch System Data Entry, and Dollars and Sense.

I graduated from Texas A&M University College Station with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Accounting. I worked for fortune 500 companies in manufacturing positions after college gaining valuable hands-on business experience. While raising a family, I decided to go back to school and obtain a master's degree. I completed a M. Ed. in Secondary Education specializing in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston Main Campus.. I hold a Microsoft Office Specialist Certification, and am a certified MOS certification testing proctor, which means I can help others learn how to obtain their certification in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access. I am certified to teach Office Education, Journalism, Accounting and CTE Math, and  AP Computer Science.

I am excited to teach CTE with Dulles Middle School!
