Hello, my name is Mrs. Collier and I am the Reading Specialist at the wonderful Lakeview Elementary in Fort Bend ISD. Through my journey as an educator I have been involved in many roles as a literacy educator and I am proud to say that all of my years of experience have been in Fort Bend ISD. My experiences have involved teaching ELA in the regular classroom, Gifted and Talented, Reading Recovery, Title I Support and now providing instruction to Dyslexia students using the Neuhaus Program. This program is used to focus on my 504 Dyslexic students. My role also promotes literacy opportunities for all students, teachers, and parents in a way that emphasizes appropriate, rigorous, and creative instruction. My goal is as a Reading Specialist is to ensure that all LVE students will become life-long successful readers.
