​Hello!

My name is Veronica Burgess and I am excited to be your child's teacher!​

I am a graduate of Houston Baptist University and have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. My wonderful teaching career began in 2002.  I have had great experiences with teaching students in grades 1st-5th. I am currently teaching fourth grade.  I am caring, compassionate, and concerned about the well-being of the whole child as well as their academic success. My ultimate goal is to empower and encourage my students to become successful, lifelong, independent learners.​ I am looking forward to a great year!!
