Howdy and welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Oyster Creek Elementary School! Our theme this year is a western theme, and we can’t wait to “Saddle Up for a Great Year of Learning”. Our Blue Jays will be soaring to new heights as they embark on this new year of learning.

This year marks my 30^th year in education and my 13^th year as a school administrator. I am very proud to be starting another as the principal of a school where a tradition of success exists through high expectations and a strong connection with the families and school community. Our staff is committed to ensuring all students reach their potential.

As the parent of two adult children, I remember the trust that a parent must place in their child’s school. At OCE, we take that trust seriously and all students are valued and cared for as our own. Our students will build skills and relationships while at OCE that will last them a lifetime!

Hello Blue Jays! I am excited and honored to provide leadership to the Oyster Creek community. My goal is to foster a culture and environment at OCE where all students and staff feel empowered to succeed. I am looking forward to another fantastic year at OCE!

My educational journey began in FBISD, where I attended Burton Elementary, Lake Olympia Middle School, and graduated from Hightower High School. Go CANES! I earned my Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and my Master's degree from Lamar University. I believe this will be an amazing year, and I can't wait to get started!
