Welcome to Ms. Salazar's 3rd grade class! I am so excited to have your child in my class this year!

My name is Mindy Salazar. I am entering my 14th year in education and my 10th year here at Palmer Elementary! As you can imagine, I consider Palmer my home - and there is no place like it! :) Funny enough - I started my career more focused on Reading, Writing and Social Studies instruction. While I still love those subjects, Math and Science have really captured my heart. Maybe because I am such a hands-on learner.

In my spare time, I love watching documentaries, seeing musicals and writing songs. And, of course, hanging out with my best fur buddy, Pouncer. When I'm planning a trip, I always look for good museums and historical sites. (Fun fact - I have gone to Washington, DC five times!)
