Hello!
My name is Ms. Newell, and I’m so excited to be part of the James Patterson Elementary family! I currently live in the Sugar Land area and have three wonderful children—two of whom are in college. I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, but Texas has been home for the past eight years.

With over 20 years of experience in education, I’m passionate about helping students grow and succeed. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, cleaning and organizing, and spending quality time with my family. I’m truly looking forward to an amazing school year ahead!
