Welcome back Panthers!​

My name is Helen Asmelash, and I will be your child’s math and science teacher. This marks my 3rd year of teaching at James Patterson Elementary, and I can’t wait to have another great year!​

I’m a very family-oriented person and enjoy spending time with my husband of 18 years and 3 kids. I have a true passion for teaching and love for kids, which makes my job a dream come true.  Overall, I’m excited to learn and grow with your kids as I do with my own. ​
