Hi, my name is Amy Blevins, and I am happy to teach third-grade math and science for the 2024-2025 school year.  This will be my 15th year teaching.  I'm proud that 13 of those years have been here at Scanlan Oaks!   

I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.  I earned my Master of Science in Education, focusing on Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.  I was honored to be named SOE's Teacher of the Year in 2018. 

I have one son, Cade, who graduated from Ridge Point High School in 2021 and is currently a senior at Texas A&M University. Gig 'em! I look forward to building relationships with my students and parents so we can partner together and have a fantastic school year!
