Background: My name is Ashaley Jemela. I grew up in the Katy school district and graduated from Katy High School. This will be my third year working in Fort Bend ISD. 

Education/Career: I earned my teaching credentials from the University of Houston. I was a teacher resident at Pecan Grove 
Elementary in a 3rd grade self-contained classroom. I also have experience teaching preschool. This will be my second year teaching reading, writing, and social studies in 2nd grade at JNE. Last year at Neill, I received Rookie Teacher of the year!

About Me: I am excited to be teaching second grade again this year! I enjoy my iced coffee every morning, listening to Taylor Swift, traveling to new places, staying active with my fitness and health, and reading (of course!)
