Hello everyone, Just a little about me, I am entering into my 22nd year of teaching, and my 12th year here at Juan Seguin Elementary.  Yes, I am one of the original teachers who helped open our fabulous school.  Initially, I worked in an office in commercial lines insurance. I was then a stay home mom for 10 years after my children were born, and as they got older, decided I really wanted to be able to work with students as a teacher.  I am a graduate of the University of Houston Downtown.

I have previously taught 3rd, and 4th grade at Seguin, and was privleged to join the wonderful fifth grade team last year.  I really enjoy teaching ELA, and watching my students grow during the year.  I also value things that I learn from my students, their ideas, and insights.

In addition, I have two grown children, a daughter and a son, who went through FBISD education system, and two terrific grandsons.
