Welcome to Kindergarten! 

Hi, my name is Jennifer Samoheyl and I am a Kindergarten teacher at Cornerstone Elementary.  I have been teaching in FBISD since 2007.  I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade.  I have also worked as a Reading Recovery teacher and I am ESL certified and GT trained.  I love to teach and help students blossom into independent learners and develop a passion for learning!

I was born and raised in Houston and graduated from UT Austin.  I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, Blake, and we have two children: Avery and Aiden.   We also have a fur baby, Rukia, at home.  We enjoy trips to the movies, playing outside, and reading books together.  In my free time, I enjoy crafting, cooking and baking, and spending time with loved ones.

We are going to have a great year together!
